Mary Louise McLaughlin, Losanti Vase, 1901, porcelain losanti ware, dimensions unknown
I’m interested in the Losanti ware made by Mary Louise McLaughlin mainly because of her carving technique. She did this as a means to create places for the glaze to pool and cause interesting effects. this line is also the last example of her work, since in 1906 she put down ceramics and never came back to it.
