Mike Jabbur references the human body in his work, giving the viewer a means in which to relate to the form. I am interested in the movement of these pieces, and the ways in which they were created. I think that the they are beautiful objects that evoke a sense of something spiritual. This is because of the looser form and the way the eye is drawn up and down the piece. They are more mysterious than if they were straight up and down cups, while also retaining a quality that makes them interesting and not foolish looking.
