I think that it is amazing to take a material as hard to control as glass and transform it into flowing collections of color that burst forth in a variety of shapes. I am particularly interested in the work of Chihuly and how he relates glass forms to nature. Even going so far as to have artwork installed in different gardens, some of the work blending in the the surrounding and some acting as accents to the natural beauty.
